WTF is a permakicker?

- A permakicker is a bike that does not coast, ie you have to keep pedaling/kicking all the time. Yes, thats the same as a fixed gear bike. Yes made that word up myself.

Why would you make up a new word for a fixed gear?

-I felt like it because at times I get annoyed by all the crap that is spawned by the hipster/fixter demand for trendy bikes and accessories and I dont want to be associated. I also like the rather simplistic description.

Why do you prefer a permakicker to a shifter?

-I don't. I like em because they are a great excuse to own more bikes.
